After the ETTU Congress approved to change former Europe Junior Top-12 event into Europe Youth Top-10 (open to junior and cadet players), the Executive Board decision to allocate the event to the ETTA (English TT Association) became definitive.

The event will take place in Sheffield from 25 to 27 January 2008. ETTU Marketing Department Manager Maurizio Evangelista had a preliminary meeting in Belgrade with ETTA Chairman Alex Murdoch and ETTA Treasurer Martin Clark to focus on the event’s organisative steps.

"This new formula – Alex Murdoch said – makes the event more and more attractive. Our association is fully involved in the organization to show all the European TT friends how our sport is growing in Englqnd. We consider such an event as the very beginning of a long way towards the 2012 Olympic Games  in London“.

The new Europe Youth Top-10 tournament will be held in the attractive EIS Sheffield venue, one of nine multi-sport hub sites around the country.
