When and why do you need a Licence?
A licensed player is allowed to play in specific national tournaments BUT you do NOT need a licence for “Local Leagues”, County Championships and 1* Tournaments.
If you simply want to play in one or more local leagues, you need to buy a ‘Senior’ or ‘Junior/Cadet’ player membership, click the ‘create a new account’ link below.
CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT to play in the local league
You require a ETTA Player Licence to participate in specific national tournaments i.e Grand Prix Circuit, National Championships, British League etc.
If you are applying for a player licence for the first time CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT
If you were a licensed player last season (2009/2010), we have already created an account for you. Your username will be your first initial and your family name (eg Dave Smith will be “dsmith”).
Your password will be your existing Player License number. NB We strongly recommend you change your password after you check and complete your licence application form below.
Please select your category of licence – either cadet, junior or senior below. Then check your existing details in the form presented and add any additional information as necessary. When you submit your payment details you will then be asked by SagePay (our approved payment system) to provide valid Debit or Credit card details. Once the payment is completed your membership is complete and you will receive a confirmation email to that effect.
