All Player Licences will expire on 31st July 2009 and will therefore need to be renewed for next season.
Previous licence holders from last season will automatically receive an invitation to renew and these will be sent out early July - in this letter details will be included on how to renew your licence online. The Online Licence process will be made available from 15th July 2009.
New licences cannot be produced until after the last ranking computer run on 29th July 2009. At this point we can then start to issue new licences.
For those who cannot or wish not to aquire their licence online it will still be possible to return your invitation to renew with your cheque or, you can call Jennifer Sherwin on 01424 722525 ext.209 and pay with a debit/credit card. Licence applications for new players can also be downloaded above.
>> ETTA Player Licence
To participate in ETTA championships, tournaments and competitions you are required to hold a current ETTA Player Licence.
There are four types of licence that provide varying levels of benefits/privileges.
Single tournament licence: - (Cadet £3.00, Junior £3.50, Senior £7.00)
- This can be purchased on the day of the competition by paying a single tournament fee and entitles the holder to participate in that specific tournament.
Player Licence (Cadet £10.50, Junior £12.50, Senior £18.50)
- All Licence holders receive an ETTA diary showing events and contacts
- Personal Licence and Membership card
Silver Player Licence (Cadet £31, Junior £33, Senior £39) includes
- Annual subscription to Table Tennis News (ETTA)
- £5 discount on a personal audit trail
- 15% discount on tickets for ETTA National Championships & international matches where appropriate
- Personal Silver Licence and Membership card
Gold Player Licence (Cadet £45.50, Junior £47.50, Senior £53.50) includes
- Annual subscription to Table Tennis News (ETTA)
- Annual subscription to Table Tennis Illustrated (ITTF)
- £5 discount on a personal audit trail
- 15% discount on tickets for ETTA National Championships & international matches where appropriate
- Personal Gold Licence and Membership card
The only exceptions by rule for holding a player licence are: Local League competitions, County Championships, National knock-out competitions, ETTA approved and 1 star open tournaments.
Non-English Players
All players who are members of other national associations must have a current licence or pay the single tournament fee unless they provide the ETTA with proof of nomination for that competition from their home association. Such proof must be in writing and must be received by the ETTA General Secretary at the association’s head office prior to the start of the competition.
